I have had two flushes of booms and with the warm, dry weather, I have been watering potted every day and in ground roses every other day. I feel like a full-time gardener. Not a bad thing since that means I can deadhead at my leisure after the mid day sun. My ministure roses are putting on quite a show in spite of the near 80* F temps. Top pink rose is ‘Joy’. The Second photo is ‘Erin Alonso’ and bottom photo is ‘Jeanne LaJoie’.
I’ve only been there twice but I am starting to love the Puyallup State Fair. The Evergreen Floral Building is new and the lighting is good. The workers are more than helpful. My garden was in it’s prime this week with no rain and lots of sun! I was pleased with my exhibits and enjoyed seeing others through judging. (I exhibited two HT’s, lots of Miniatures and Minifloras and judged Floribundas and classes of HT’s I was not in.)
