Feels like fall – roses have great color

I look forward to fall gardening every year because of the cool days and the effects on my roses. It’s not like a second Spring because the light is diminishing rather than increasing. Today was the first day I noticed the pleasant change.

‘Randy Scott’, hybrid tea, is looking good below.

‘Halo Today’ single miniature.

‘Uncle Joe’ was great hybrid tea in the Midwest but has not been great here, out West. This bloom may make me change my opinion.
